sorry, couldn't fine the other thread on the topic and don't want to beat a dead horse.
But -- a friend asked, and I wasn't sure the true answer.
Is Interatlanta still fielding the 2 youngest teams in MLS next - 08s and 09s?

Yes they will...
This is much like Boys DA days, where only AU/CF/UFA fielded boys teams older than 14, and AFC/LSA/NASA/SSA tapped out at U14 and the tryouts for U15+ were a mad scramble and a reset from 7 teams down to 3...

So which league will Inter and LSA MLS 07 teams play next year if not in MLS next?

I will guess the same league the current 15s/16s/17s/18s played in this past season. Not sure what that was and maybe there-n lies the issue, generating competitive teams at the older age was suspect so they weren't given an extension of age groups. I'm also not sure how the current U14s did in MLS-Next. If they were able to compete with their opponents, maybe they would have at least gotten U15 for next year and kept building from there...

It will be interesting. LSA has SCCL Premier teams in 07 and older age groups. The LSA Archies 07 team was in the National League Piedmont Conference/GA Soccer in the fall and is leading the GPL in the Spring season.
The Inter Atlanta 07 boys would have played in the National League Piedmont Conference/GA Soccer but left to do MLS Next. Does GA soccer just welcome them back with open arms granting them a GPL spot next Fall?

This must be true since they are now promoting players for Atlanta United... http://instagram.com/p/CPHAFW2JdLU

Georgia soccer is a lost cause for sure.
Interesting though - Atlanta United has 2 really good 2006 goalies already. Do you need 3….? I’m assuming there is a handful of 05 goalies, 04s and maybe even a few 03s for next year.

not sure why, but the tweet isn't showing up from AFC
I think they deleted it, but this pic shows the lack of mls next for the 07s and 05s.

I know McIntosh and Starr's Mill high school is composed of a high percentage of AFC players, as well as other High schools like Whitewater and Northgate.....not that HS soccer is the end all be all for college, but winning state (MHS) and placing in the top 25 Nationally (MHS & SMHS) has it's place......MOBA is having their tryouts next week and should be interesting to see how many flip because of it

Only one 05 left. The 2x 04s will play U19/u23/USL or whatever. The 03 will be U23/USL.
