Which league is the best route in Georgia (Atlanta Area) for a player wanting to play at the highest level with the best competition?
Currently considering Inter Atlanta National League or NASA ECNL.

ECNL will have much better competition and exposure. By u14/15 top players have gravitated towards the Big 5 clubs.

ECNL by a good margin. The top programs like CF, GSA, NASA, UFA all play ECNL with their top teams.
If it helps, NASA 07 played Inter Atlanta 07 this year in a Unite Cup game and won 5-1.

It has been my experience that you don't consider NASA ECNL, they consider you. Top team is set at the 07 age group. Coach is only looking for depth at F and MF.

How is the top team set at 07 age group but the coach is only looking for depth at F and MF? No team is set because if Johnny or Susie Come Lately show up and they are better than your kid, they get bumped. |

The coach is going on his third year with this team. Players are not leaving and only a few are being added at the two positions referenced above.

I certainly agree that the NASA 07 ECNL team is very strong but the coach will always consider a top player. You could also consider the NASA 07 ECRL team, which is also very good, with an opportunity to move up to the top team. |

Question on Concorde Boys - did they just "inherit" the Premier ECNL team from SSA like the girls did, or have they had it all along? Or does SSA still run the team?

The only SSA link on the boys side was the Platinum 05 team. About 2/3s SSA players and Coach Davey. The top 05 CF boys left 2 years ago and now Coach Davey is going back to SSA and trying to sell his team on MLSNext. There is no other SSA connection on the boys side. |

I think there are about 8 former SSA DA players on that 2005 Concorde team.
