The GSA 07 team will be very different next year. I've heard of a lot of movement recently. Couple to ATL, couple moving because they're not happy with the coach (think they're playing the wrong position, not enough, etc.), new faces coming over to the team because they did well. Should be interesting. GSA did well in several age groups attracting talent. They won’t miss a beat. They know how the game is played: offer early, make promises, stroke parent egos. All while other arrogant clubs twiddle their thumbs and lose out.

Any reports from U15 ECNL tryouts today? NASA had a pretty strong turnout.

Are these college scouts? If so, please remember that soccer scholarships are already limited in numbers and I know of a couple of club players that were to go onto college this fall but had their scholarships taken back because of the NCAA relief granted to all players, including college freshman players, in the 2020 season. Those impacted players are coming back to play for their club teams in the fall just to have a place to play/train. The college players all have an extra year of eligibility which is really screwing the current high school players. This is why maintaining a high GPA could be a benefit for soccer players given the limited scholarship opportunities. See the attached article regarding ncaa recruiting. It is specifically about college football but the relief applies to all athletes. www.google.com/amp/s/sports.yahoo.com/amphtml/as-recruiting-reopens-high-school-recruits-are-getting-screwed-172459597.html

On the positive side, scouting budgets are brimming due to the extended COVID-19 inactivity, and aid stacking is now allowed in D1 (since last August) which means need- and merit-based funds no longer count against equivalency sport scholarship allotments.

It’s a bit like putting a humidifier and a dehumidifier in a room and seeing which one wins…

CF has a first and a second team in ECNL, so make sure you understand which one you are getting the offer from. Regardless both teams finished poorly last season, in 7th and 8th place in the standings. The Platinum team has some strong players and could be a good team to play on at U15, but GSA, NASA, and UFA are all better in the 2007 age group. Were better. CF Platinum will win the conference next year. [br What do you know about CF Platinum? Has this team revamped from Last season?

CF players are looking because an entire team is being brought in from DDY for ECNL Premier. That means an entire team of players either has to make platinum, find another club, or move down to regional. What is DDY?

Did Concorde really revamp both U15 teams? Bring in the DDY kids or outside talent? I did notice several former CF ECNL kids at other tryouts, but not sure if they made those other teams.

CF might need DDY kids with all the players leaving lol (and no, not due to cuts, taking ECNL spots at other clubs)

Looks like they did revamp both. Movement between Platinum and Premier, outside talent, and some DDY players made either ECNL Premier or Regional teams (and SCCL).
