Holy crap, just now seeing these in alerts blowing up my phone. So he had no choice it truly wasn't a mutual decision for him to leave. So Miami is screwed for the next couple of years. Plus wasn't Paul brought back to right the ship? Now we know why he bolted Inter Miami and returned to AU. Oh dear...

Given that MLS is a single entity, this is unfair to InterMiami. You can't cheat against yourself. Everything InterMiami did, they did for the good of MLS.

I think this is a phenomenal story to share with kids interested in going Pro. Gurr started in the Academy of a club that features in the 6th division of footy in England - Gateshead FC. from there he chose to go to college in the US. Now he doesn't go for D1, D2 or even the NCAA, but instead choses to go with the NAIA at Georgia GWinnett College. Balls out in college and then graduates and goes and plays in the NPSL with Georgia Revolution. Finally gets his break and signs with AU 2(Coached by Glass). Leaves Glass with a lasting impression that when he leaves to go coach in the Premiership, he works a deal that has Gurr cut from the first team MLS AU only to sign with the Dons. Well done sir. Now talk about creating your own pathway to the pros...
