Understandable. I think I missed your point the first time. My only point was your username is “ufasoccermom” - if somebody tries to tag you by the @+ screen name ie. “soccermom” it is understandable that they might tag you incorrectly. This is for anyone who might be thinking about editing their screen name. Probably not a real significant concern since very few people use the @ tag anyway.. So i should just create a new account and start over 😂 I could go back to ufasoccermom I guess so the forum is odd, you have a username to sign in and register, but under profile, click edit profile click personal under display name, you can make it what ever your like. so for SoccerMom your display name says soccermom, even though your username is different. |

Any of you who go and create a new user name please make sure we can all pronounce it. I’d hate to see users get ignored for a typo.

I think I added my real name (Scott) to the non-mobile version of this board a couple years ago. Screen names are great for building accountability but I wouldn’t mind it if people would get real crazy and just use their real name. Soccer community is a good one to be a part of. I know infoguy but not sure if I know anyone else in here. Ok i will bite my friend. I have a 22 year old who played with the tophat's midgets until she was burned out I have a 19 year old who played at Lightning his whole career. I have a 3 year old who will start this fall. I am 50. My wife is 48. He will be our last. My name is Geoff Fulton. I am on the board at McCurry Park. I am also a partner in a CPA firm. I think it is a laudable goal to expose as many kids as possible to soccer. There is always a place that a kid can find in the youth ranks. Competition and belonging are two important aspects of the journey. I also think Pro/reg is the best choice. I will try to figure out how to reflect my real name in the forum. Geoff |
