Since I am shopping around for a new forum name ... Thought I would start a post for some fun and levity during "SILLY SEASON" What are some of your favorite forum names you have seen ... Give them an @ shout out. And any new forum names you suggest. bogan posted a great one GameofRondos shoutout to GameOfThrow-ins and why didn't YOU think of that?! LOL |

I think I added my real name (Scott) to the non-mobile version of this board a couple years ago. Screen names are great for building accountability but I wouldn’t mind it if people would get real crazy and just use their real name. Soccer community is a good one to be a part of. I know infoguy but not sure if I know anyone else in here. |

Soccer has gotten to the point for me, that I don't even know most of the parents names on my kids own teams.....
What trips me out is I know I walk past folks all the time who post on here etc.
I've been around since the start, don't post as much as others, and try to watch what I say. I know too much......

I honestly often use this place as therapy. So many times I type something up and end up just deleting it and never hit create post. |

I also have come on many times to type up a post, let it sit, then delete it. I do this often with emails too. I try to be reasonable, and if you respond in the heat of the moment it is likely done with emotion, just in my experience there isn’t much room for reason in there... As for the anonymity aspect, many folks on the forum know who I am. If you have direct messaged me, I have told you. It’s also hard to hide when you grew up playing here, coached here and know too much. As a result of not having much anonymity here, I often ask myself why folks feel like they can’t say what they think without fear of retribution or retaliation... if what your saying is your opinion or stating facts or even prefaced with, I heard a rumor... why can’t you post it? Let’s face it, people come on here for information and gossip (entertainment). And if you are in the market for a clever name, the best place to go is fantasy football leagues, those folks are funny. |

My only point was your username is “ufasoccermom” - if somebody tries to tag you by the @+ screen name ie. “soccermom” it is understandable that they might tag you incorrectly. This is for anyone who might be thinking about editing their screen name. Probably not a real significant concern since very few people use the @ tag anyway.. |
