DPL/SCCL

What DPL teams will be playing in the division with the Atlanta area? Will there still be any Florida teams or will all the FL teams be in their own division?
Also what about SCCL Club and Premier? Will the bigger clubs who joined ECRL still have SCCL teams or no? What new leagues have been added to SCCL both at the club and premier levels?
There may have been a thread already started about this but we cannot locate and we are trying to answer questions for a few players/ families. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

I think DPL teams for our region will be Inter Atlanta, Tophat, Roswell, AFC, Vestavia Hills, Charleston, Surf, Wake FC and likely 1 or 2 that I am missing. Florida should have their own region.

I can't answer your DPL questions, but re: SCCL, yes those clubs who joined ECRL will still have SCCL Club and Premier teams. Most clubs who joined ECRL are moving their SCCL Clubs to ECRL. I know an exception is UFA on the girls' side - SCCL Club teams stay there and the NPL teams from last year are taking the ECRL slots. I believe some new clubs were added to SCCL Premier - there was a post on here recently about it. For those clubs who moved their SCCL Club teams up to ECRL, I think they're just promoting SCCL P1 teams up a level to SCCL Club. Would think it has a domino effect on their teams at P2, P3, etc. - they will all move up a level. Keep in mind, there will be exceptions for certain clubs, teams or age groups but this is generally my understanding of how ECRL impacts SCCL as a whole. |

ECRL is the new SCCL-CLUB for the ECNL toting clubs if you really look at it. If you visit the SCCL website it'll show the additions. There is one from Tennessee that has replaced FC Alliance.
