I had to admit to being surprised that San Diego got a franchise at basically the same time as LA. I know it is a soccer hotbed but there is a whole country out there and you put two clubs within 2 hours of each other?

With Georgia politics the way they are and Atlanta not having a true soccer venue (maybe Center Parc Stadium though that location is horrible), NWSL won’t be adding an Atlanta team.
