So what were people thoughts.
Lloyd scores in 24 seconds.
Horan follows it up with a PK in the 7th minute, after press got fouled.
Then Purce scores a nice 1v1 on a beautiful ball from press.
Morgan adds a late header in the 91st minute.
2nd half lost some luster for sure, even after they went up 3-0, the pace of the game seemed to slow down. Might have been around the time when Rose went down with the ankle injury in the first half.
Rose seems to be the only player (and Maybe Dunn) willing to try to take a player on 1v1.
I personally don't like horan and mewis in at the same time. I'd rather see a younger more active player. Mewis and Horan are very similar players, Mewis just tends to get more forward then horan (by design). Horan is solid as can be though, man strong, and likes to play simple. Jamaica really started to sit back, and I felt it was an opportunity to go at players more.
I'm not the biggest Ertz fan, but we do seem to be missing her attitude and work ethic.
I did like Macario, not sure if she will make the 18 for the Olympics. Sonnet probably made the roster because she showed she can play on the left or the right, and likes to get forward. She is definitely a better at attacking then defending. She made a few mistakes under pressure, but to give her credit, she had the ball at her feet a lot.
Sophia Smith came on late and never really got anything going, had a few decent efforts, but nothing really dangerous.
I didn't watch the game vs Portugal, so can't compare it to that 1-0 game.
