Pretty sad what they’ve become. But in MLS you’re not out of contention for many more months so hopefully they figure some things out offensively. They did create some chances at the end but the dependence on crossing is too one dimensional. Guzan MOTM.
Barco fell down a lot, which is to be expected. Who is the scout that tricked AU into a record spend on that kid? He’s got ball skills but can’t seem to make good passing (or dribbling) decisions to save his life.
How many goals has Cubo Torres scored in AU uniform? His lack of productivity IMO is a great reason to get a look at Jackson Conway while Josef is still playing for Venezuela.

Recent AU games remind me of MacBeth-“full of sound and fury signifying nothing.” Like every good Atlanta sports fan, I will suffer with them…it’s what we do.😩

To me it shows how special Almiron was with this team.
He changed the dynamic of the game and attacked space like no other player in the league.
Managment thinks they can replicate the magic by just signing over priced South Americans. Hence why I’m not high on Lucy the GM at DC United - personnel has been lacking and it’s doesn’t help that only if your name is Bello do homegrowns get a chance.
Crazy that this team used to be the most exciting team on turf and then Managment ripped it apart.

Miggy was exciting in MLS. It’s sobering that he is average in EPL. Still fun to watch that ostrich.

Not pleased with the product on the field. I had really hoped we would be improving with time. But it seems every year since 2018 we're getting worse.
