I thought Hoppe looked dangerous and had two great rocket shots earlier in the game. Then he looked like he was trying to do too much dribbling and kept losing the ball. And then he was the savior.

Jamaica's high pressure caused us fits. We couldn't deal with it. I only watched the first half, but man, we were lucky to be 0-0.
the opening kickoff was embarrassing, we go backwards, and almost concede a goal within the first 15 seconds. it was borderline comical.

Does not bode well for a potential matchup with Mexico. Watching Mexico play Honduras reminded me of the 2017 and 2018 Atlanta United teams under Tata. Mexico looked really dangerous in the first half of that game. |

I think we have VERY LITTLE chance of beating Mexico with this line up. I think it will be great training for Miles Robinson though provided he is ok after the collision last night.
We still have to beat Qatar which won't be easy either.
