Congratulations to NTH-NASA boys ECNL U15 (2007) on a ECNL SE championship and an undefeated season (20 wins 0 losses and 4 draws). Not sure how often a SE ECNL team goes undefeated in league play but seems like a big accomplishment for these boys. Congratulations to NASA! Excellent team with a very good coach. I think one of the SE teams from U15 could make a good run in San Diego. 5 very good teams in that conference that could beat anybody on their day. NASA will have a very good shot

The U15 Southeast Conference is decent this year and will be well represented in San Diego. NASA U15’s finished in first, but SC Surf, UFA, GSA, Concorde Platinum, and Tennessee all played well. This was not an easy season for anyone and they all raised the level of soccer in the SE battling each other until the final whistle. Let’s see what they can do in San Diego!!! It’s great to see all of these boys continuing to develop and grow the sport. I’m not sure if the SouthEast ever gets recognized for soccer like NY/Cali/Virginia but hopefully these 6 teams will put the SE on ECNL’s radar. As a side note, it looks like NASA U13-19 are ALL going to San Diego. As of right now their teams are in 1st or 2nd place in every age bracket. Congratulations to NTH-NASA boys ECNL U15 (2007) on a ECNL SE championship and an undefeated season (20 wins 0 losses and 4 draws). Competitive, yes, but in my biased opinion, I thought NASA had control of the match over Concorde Platinum. It was only 1-0 but NASA hit the post and had several other great scoring chances with good saves by CF goalie. NASA kept possession in the midfield often.

Disagree nasa scored on a questionable pk in the box that was not called until the nasa parents complained and the linesman raised her flag only after parents complained, about 20 seconds later after the challenge. Center ref was awful as he never travelled farther than 20 yards.

You are referring to the U18/19 game.

NASA's secret sauce on the boys side was when RA left Concorde and came to NASA. He is a quality coach and brought so many good people and players with him. I expect NASA to be very good and get even better on boys side for years to come. I also expect Concorde's decline to continue as a rapid pace. I posted the above post almost a year ago about what NASA's secret sauce was on the boys side. Thinking I was onto something. The only differences between NASA three years ago and NASA today is RA, quite a few ex-Concorde players that followed him and 3 three years of development by top class coaching staff. DS, RT, RA, and TG may be the best ECNL coaching staff in the whole country. They just proved it, didn't they? A seriously phenomenol achievement, gentlemen, that should be celebrated by all of us here in GA. We seem to have some guys in our backyard that know what they are doing. Tryouts next year should be interesting. Congrats NASA!!

They had some good players and then recruited more and improved coaching. Now their older ECNL teams put a majority of players into Division 1 college soccer. Hope it continues.

Since then it’s a mix of DA and new additions to the club via coach selection. DS, RT, TG have been here forever and RA is a solid addition from a coaching perspective. Some of these teams are very similar to what Georgia United was back years ago under DS.

Yes agreed, those teams were some great teams and had some vicious battles with Concorde over the years but they were not solely NASA teams. Georgia United consisted of 4 clubs, maybe 5 if I'm not mistaken. Was it UFA, NASA, Norcross(before they joined UFA), AFC Lightning and I'm blanking on the 5th club Lets not overlook the fact that DS, TG, RA AND RT have done this on their own at one club. Remarkable stuff!

I think any one of these SE ECNL top teams can easily compete with like ECNL teams nationally. The competition in the SE makes all of the joys better and I think a great place for schools to scout talent.
