I'm sure this has been posted in the past, but I'm curious if anyone has a quick or realistic way to get the stink out of cleats?
That's it, short and simple...

Get them dried out ASAP, take out the soles and hang dry, stuff the shoes with old rags. Use baking soda or vinegar/water solution as they dry. Spray with some Lysol at times.
Odor = bacteria so if they smell you have bacteria growing in there and need to kill it.

Throw them out and buy new ones. Have two pair of cleats and alternate usage to maximize drying time between uses.

Use a 3:1 mixture of H2SO4 and H2O2 (30%).
Just kidding-don’t do that…

The “Peet Dryer” is what has worked best for us. It is made for hunting boots but works with any shoe or boot. As mentioned above drying them out is key to reducing the smell. You simply place the cleats on it overnight. You can find it on Amazon or in many sporting goods stores.
