Ok Arsenal fans out there… what’s the problem (s)? Is Arteta really the issue?
Not spending on players (the owner)?

It is hard to say if Arteta is the guy or not. Today they played without their 2 top CBs, and their top DM. They have had COVID issues through the team and have not had their regular starting 11 yet.
However, look at the transfers they have been making, all young guys. While that might be good for 2-3 years down the road, it isn't good for noe. They haven't brought in a proven difference maker in a while. On top of it, they haven't been able to move the crap out of the team. Instead of allowing Xhaka to leave for Italy because they wanted more money for him, they extended his contract. Remember he was the "Captain" that threw the armband on the ground a couple years ago and flipped off the home fans. As good as he plays for Switzerland, he plays equally average for Arsenal. Giving long term deals to Pablo Mari & Cedric Soares was down right dumb.
Ownership is crap, but they are actually spending some money, just not on the right guys IMO.
All that said, I'm not happy with Arteta. When Wenger left I wanted Klopp first. When we missed on him I wanted Conte. When we missed on him I wanted Tuchel. Well, 3 strikes. Allegri was also rumored at one point, but ownership deemed him too expensive. This club needs a manager that knows how to win on a budget because Arsenal will not spend like other big clubs and go out to get anyone that the manager wants...like Pep gets & Arteta had when he was his assistant.

they’ve lost the plot as an organization. starts with their owners. arteta isn’t up to the task. they are a big 6 club on history only. leicester, even west ham have surpassed them. shambles.
