Yes. They are just making the "Champions League" bracket in the playoffs bigger.

Just to clarify, ECNL is just adding more teams eligible for the playoffs. They have not added more teams to the ECNL program other than those added at the start of the season such as South Carolina Surf, who were the NPL champions last year at 07 age group.

We are super excited for San Diego playoffs. Our boys are off to a 4-0-1 start so hoping playoffs are in our future again this season.
