I find it a bit confusing on how posts are ordered. On my screen, why does "welcome to your new georgia forum"..remain at the top of list when last response was Sept 20. "Spam rumors" are also listed at top and it appears last post was 20 hrs ago, which is longer than posts below it. I understand it keeps active posts at the top, but does that mean if someone posts a reply on an original post of a week ago, it will automatically stay at top? Sometimes its better for old posts to just go away, especially if they are truly not active, IMO. With that said, I do like the "new button" on left and a lot of other functionality this forum provides, so maybe its just getting used to new formats. Silverbacks are not always the smartest animal in the jungle.

After I posted this, it is listed after the FAQ post, GA Soccer Terminology post, and the goal of the week post. I would of thought it moved right to the top.

If you put your cursor over the icons next to the top several posts, those are thread announcements and thread stickys. They remain at the top because they are important information for all forum members to see. Just below the oldest sticky, the actual threads will be sorted in order of recent activity. It is a little confusing as there is a clear break between the announcements and stickys, but not between the stickys and "regular" threads.
Admin: Is there a way to format the view to reduce the confusion on this?

Thank you. Obviously Dawgs are smarter than Gawrillas.

pooldawg is right. top 2 are announcements - and will always remain at top (there is a small divider). next 3 are stickies at the top, will probably combine the ga soccer terminology and frequently asked questions, to limit the number of "sticky" threads will try to keep announcments/stickies to a minimum
