Been a good year so far. We play a 10 game season . With two games to go we are in 2nd place with 6 wins 0 losses and 2 draws ( both draws came against the 1st place team and 3rd place team despite not having either GK for both games ). The team in first only has 1 game left so theoretically we can still finish 1st, but finishing 2nd guarantees us NL PRO next year too.

Sergio Magana has the girls gelling at the right time.

After 8 games we have 30 GF and 6 GA. Much improved since last year.

Looking forward to the NL PRO events in Orlando and Tampa this December snd February as well as State Cup.

We should have 16 of our 17 100% healthy by state cup. Unless someone quits we should have 1 spot available for next year . DM me if you have a player interested. I know CF and GSA ECL probably weren’t full strength but we weren’t either but when we played them in a tournament we lost 2-0 and 3-1 despite having 1 week of practice snd combining 5 of the LSA NL 05 with tne 13 we brought back . We have gotten our chrmisydoen and play awesome defense .

Hope it’s been low on injuries for everyone .

I can’t tell if it’s worse because we are better , or if it’s strong because it’s deeper . We haven’t played a team as good as Roswell but they are in sccl. I think the top 5 teams are solid/good , the bottom 2 are very week, and the middle 4 I’d say are ok.

It was just like SCCL: great / good teams snd OK/bad teams .

But the NL PRO games (7 extra games against top 2 finishers in the other conferences —-32 teams) in our bracket meet us in Florida Dec and February . 8 teams in our bracket from NY, 2 from Illinois , Maryland , AllIn and Tormenta from our NL Piedmont , plus a team from PA and VA I believe will play each other .

Top 2 in these 8 regional games go to a 16 team playoff in Kansas City in July for a National title.

It’s going to be a great time. All games attended by college scouts .

I agree in Atlanta SCCL is the more popular but when you get outside metro ATL, NL is considered above SCCL and many teams are as good as ecnl teams .

We had three practices with the new girls joining us before we played CF ecnl premiere and GSA ecnl and AFC GAL. Lost both ecnl games by 2 and the GAL game by 1. Our next tourney was a mix of GAL/DPL/SCCL top bracket . We won that tourney .

I have no idea if that means anything because you never know what teams were missing players ( I know GSA had a couple missing ) and we had 2 missing . So who knows.

I do think it means we are better than last year . And I truly think we are easily the best team in NL Piedmont . We tied the 1st and 3rd place teams with our 5’11” keeper ( she’s awesome ) missing the hand . We used two field players in those game . All-In and Catawba are both undefeated .

We quietly set a goal of undefeated and ended the dream Sunday beating SC Surf 6-1. 38 goals score in the year to 8 given up and also winning our first NL PRO game .if we win enough of those 6 games it’s on to nationals .

We have 1/2 a team who came from ecnl /DA and the rest top 1/3 SCCL top bracket and a deep bench .
After playing both top 2-3 ecnl teams in the state , I think we can beat them after playing all year together . We had three practice days with 5 new girl before we played them and didn’t embarrass ourself . Counting travel why pay $8,000-$12,000 for the ecnl patch when you can
Pay $2,500-$6,000 depending on travel to play for a team better than some ecnl teams and be seen by as many s outs .

Depending on if we have injuries , some quit soccer , or switch clubs , DM me and we will see if we need a couple players . 1/2 our team has missed at least two games so you never know.

In pressing we list to GSA 05 ecnl 2-0 and CF Premiere ecnl 3-1. Most points in any game we gave up all year. We have a much cheaper alternative to ecnl and with this winter and next winter your child is guaranteed to play 14 games minimum in from a huge college showcase crowds as part of the season — not an extra showcase you have to sign up for .

To the person who inquired earlier , you are 1st on the list of call backs as positions come available . This core has 2-3 years left depending on grade level .
