Anyone hearing any details on the Generation Adidas (GA) Cup? I've heard April 9-17th range but location TBD.
I've heard the December MLS Next Showcase in Norco, CA is a qualifier.
I've heard the playoffs will be in Oceanside, CA.

I've heard the playoffs will be in Oceanside, CA. Yes, you are correct. The preliminary qualifier will be Dec 3-6 at the Silver Lakes Soccer Complex in Norco, CA. With a bigger conclusion in April. Also, the playoffs/showcase will kick-off sometime around the 25th of June and based on how far your team goes, be finalized around the 4h of July. Which age-group is your kid U15 or U17? |

We were told that was mainly due to the California droughts this summer and those fields are normally in fantastic shape. I agree this summer they were pretty bad. A lot of teams had to change the way they played because the fields were not very conducive to playing possession oriented soccer. |

Thanks I have not come across any schedule(s) listed in the public domain. I'm sure the clubs, coaches, players and parents of those going have some idea of the schedule if for no other reasoning than for scheduling purposes... |

Nice…but for some of these teams/clubs, a long way to go and a lot of money spent to lose. I also wonder how many scouts will be looking at the lower age brackets. Overall, a lot of top flight clubs. |

Looks like MLS-Next is taking a page out of the ECNL National Selection Games...
At this weeks MLS-Next Fest showcase, the U15/16s and U17/19s will see the best of the east vs. the best of the west game, featuring the top players in MLS-Next pit their talents against each other. This will primarily be made up of U16s and U19s as the U15/17s are engaged in the GA Cup portion of the Showcase. Word is, MLS is hoping to stream the games. As soon as I get that link I'll share. Hopefully some of the ATL lads get spotted and get to showcase their ATL talents...🤞
