Huge weekend coming up with UFA playing Concorde Platinum on Saturday and GSA on Sunday.
U-13: UFA #2 v CP #4 and GSA #3
U-14: UFA #5 v CP #1 and GSA #2
U15: UFA #1 v CP #3 and GSA #10
U-16: UFA #3 v CP #1 and GSA #2
U-17: UFA #1 v CP #7 and GSA #2
U-18/19: UFA #2 v CP #1 and GSA #3
Any match-ups you are particularly interested in seeing or any predictions?
07 UFA v CP will have 11 kids on the field who were just at the Atlanta USYNT ID camp. Loads of talent in that game.
Both matches for the 06s and 04/03s should be really competitive.

Would be nice if UFA could repeat what GSA ECNL boys accomplished last year, all teams making Nationals but just higher seeding...👏👏👏

Looks like they did not have a great weekend. Biggest surprise was U19 - UFA vs Platinum. 6-1 UFA win when Platinum hasn't given up but 15 goals period on the season.

It doesn't look like the U13 & U14 age groups played this past weekend. I believe most of the remaining games (not all) for those age groups are now scheduled in the spring.
If the App is correct, the results are below...
U15 - Lost to Platinum 3-4; Beat GSA 2-1 U16 - Lost to Platinum 1-3; Beat GSA 2-0 U17 - Tied Platinum 1-1; Lost to GSA 0-2 U18/U19 - Beat Platinum 6-1; Beat GSA 2-1

U17 Girls ECNL #1 GSA 2 - #2 UFA 0 U17 UFA also tied Platinum 1-1. Looks like they did not have a great weekend. Biggest surprise was U19 - UFA vs Platinum. 6-1 UFA win when Platinum hasn't given up but 15 goals period on the season. Similar lopsided result when U19's played in pre-season tourney vs GSA. I honestly believe this goes right to style of play. This Platinum team has a number of top ranked players who are all very technical, but struggle against more physical teams like GSA and UFA.

CF went up 1-0 early and dominated the first half and could have been up 3 or 4 goals easily (or even more). UFA had a few first half chances, but not many, and got a late goal on long free kick played in and a scramble in the box. About 15 minutes into the 2nd half, with the score 1-1, UFA forward ran straight through the back of a CF defender at full speed very late (probably should have been Red but ref turned to watch the ball and didn't even see it - not even a foul call). 20-30 minute delay as CF player was taken off field in stretcher/neck brace/ambulance - UFA scored 5 goals in last 20 minutes. Obviously CF didn't respond very well to the injury.
