I think Ives gets it mostly right, but a couple points: the development of our back line between now and then will determine whether Fabian Johnson starts at fullback or in the midfield. I know I'm not super comfortable at this point with either Chandler or Garza starting a high-stakes match, so we'll have to wait and see. If Klinsmann wasn't so stubborn he'd call in Eric Lichaj who's been phenomenal for Nottingham Forest this season. In no way is Mo Edu a threat to Bradley in the midfield. I like Mo but I think he's done on the USMNT. The most likely pairing will be Bradley and Mix. My sleeper pick is 18 year old Emerson Hyndman, a talented central midfielder for Fulham who earned his first senior cap earlier this month. He's a real prospect who plays way older than his age. Julian Green hasn't made his case as a USMNT starter yet, but like Ives said, this season could be big for him if he gets quality time for Hamburg. He's another "wait and see" pick. At forward I'd personally like to see Aron Johansson start over Dempsey, but with Aron coming off surgery he'll need a productive rest of the season to prove his worth to Klinsi. I agree with Ives that the striker position appears to be Jozy's, but if Boyd or Agudelo or someone else has a breakout year AND Jozy continues to you know, uh, not score goals, then pressure's going to mount on Klinsmann to make a change.

I'm still not a fan of Omar, and surprised he thinks he showed well in Brazil. To me it just seems like he is always a step slow or step behind. mabye he is a better option than cameron
