Jesse Marsch just didn't fit at RB Leipzig and it's OK to admit DEREK RAE “ Did Marsch get a fair shake? It's uncomfortable for many to digest, but this is unfortunately a story of under-performance at its core. Leipzig have known nothing but an upward trajectory in their short history. When the negatives suddenly pile up under a new coach, there's only one person who pays the price. For those who say Americans don't get the benefit of the doubt, this would have been the outcome for an Italian, Scot, Dane, Frenchman -- or indeed a German -- had it been deemed that the fit was wrong. It's a business decision, and there's no sentimentality at the highest tier of football decision-making...” Full Article: www.espn.com/soccer/german-bundesliga/story/4542377/jesse-marsch-just-didnt-fit-at-rb-leipzig-and-its-ok-to-admit

Selling club sold some players and the new players weren’t as good. Manager gets the ax. Competitive leagues are dog eat dog.

They were sold before of after taking the job, and what's the morale of story from the managers point of view? If you don't believe in the players of a team looking to hire you, don't take the job?

Hope not. But not unlikely. Who would you like to see? Pep Guardiola is going to need a new challenge and his current club may be put on ice shortly. So I’d like to see Pep Guardiola! If he isn’t available, I’ll go with anyone with zero ties to the US Soccer federation.

Good read on Marsch' tactics: totalfootballanalysis.com/head-coach-analysis/jesse-marsch-at-leeds-united-2021-22-tactical-analysis-and-tacticsI think US needs a hybrid approach vs trying trying to force ourselves to a possession team. I'm not tactically savy to understand how other teams play against or what is best, I just want a hard working team that gives it all for the crest on the kit. Obviously at the root of it is striker who can score goals consistently, and the lack of one has been our demise. I also don't care where people play when it comes time for world cup qualification, if the best player is a right back from the MLS, play him. If hes in england play him. But we need a team with an identity, and i think that identify is old school blue collar, lets freaking work!

Hugo Perez is my second choice.
Most importantly - A manager who isn’t a one system guy.

Reports are saying talks between Marsch and Southhampton are breaking down. It is reported Marsch wants a long term deal, and the club does not want that.
