Some EPL teams are not playing Boxing Day due to COViD…Some are going ahead…is this fair?

Consistency is key. If they postpone games for one club and make another play - with an equal number of cases - that sounds like shenanigans.

Yeah…I don’t profess to be an expert on their process but it appears there really isn’t one…

Apparently all the clubs met a little over a week ago and came up with a minimum number of players available requirement. I don't recall the numbers, but if a team fell below the number the game would be moved, otherwise it gets played.
Personally I would prefer to see all games played, or all games cancelled.

I’ve seen a number of players say their voices aren’t being heard. So, not quite sure what to make of that. But, I’m with you-postpone them all or play them all.

The biggest issue I see is teams not playing today, but then being scheduled to play on Tuesday or Wednesday...against teams that play today. I'm not sure how that is fair to the team that has a short turn around.

Thomas Tuchel wasn’t happy about playing today. He wants his winter break.

Damned if they do, and damned if they don’t. Many clubs are struggling with a reduced roster. Yet if they reschedule the games they’re then faced with potentially doubling the number of games for some weeks in January or February. If that happens they’re looking at increased risk of injury to players.
