Flipped back n forth during commercials of Duke/unc game.
Josef needs to be more active.
Again - these guys are professional soccer players, I saw some horrendous first touches and balls getting stuck under their feet Vs receiving the ball and opening up. Shocking honestly.
Franco was bad.

Did anyone even notice Sejdic during the game. Our central midfield seems absent.
And don’t get me started on Wolff. I don’t get it. I’ll be an a**, but if his name wasn’t Wolff he’d be at Gwinnett southwest tech playing soccer.
I hate saying it - but he’s a professional athlete now.
Back 4 play way to slow with the ball also. No sense of urgency. I get it being calm on the ball is great - but we need someone to be assertive.
I still don’t get given the $$$ In this league, that they pay Guzan what they do. Money would have been better spent on gressel.
Some players were trying to say the better team lost today. Wtf. Are they drunk. Stop with that nonsense.
Is Almiron the only player in mls history who would get the ball at his feet and just attack space with pace going forward. Seems to be a lost art.

Coaching and style.
I was not impressed in first game either. A lot of the same from last year. Unless individual creativity I did not see any team creativity. Lack of cohesion and movement with or without the ball. Almost playing to not lose.

I was there and watched it in person, and I didn't think we played that well the 1st game either, but I kept my mouth shut about it as I seemed to be the outlier on thinking that. I think maybe Sporting KC may just not be good right now, and that might be the only reason we won that game. I am thinking we are going to have a long season, but maybe I will be proven wrong. |

Very favorable schedule over the next month --
Charlotte twice, Montréal and DC United.
Should easily win 3 of the 4 games.
Charlotte can't score and I don't see that changing. They do a good job moving the ball though, just not sure if they have the pieces they needed to be successful. Bender off the bench was really good.
