Other than the fact that he did not act like an adult (when he was, in fact, not an adult) what other "mistakes" have been made that would call for a club to release such a statement? Did I miss something since the forgetting of the passport?

Some of it is just the twitter world etc.
People forget on twitter you end up following people with similar ideologies and then choose a few people that disagree with your opinions to argue with....
I think he probably forgets that he's in the public eye and you need to be a little bit more cautious with what you like and comment on etc. He from what I gather is a religious guy and some of the extreme religious opinions aren't necessarily modernized for 2022.... I personally disagree with many things he has liked etc, but I'm still rooting for him to be successful on the pitch. Kid was just too good. His vision, his footwork, his first touch, he just saw the game differently. I hope the magic isn't gone,
To be honest -- I think it's time for him to just get off social media and focus on soccer. But that is just my opinion and he's now a grown man vs a 17 year old kid.
