Wow seems like decades ago when Atlanta United's style of play 100% overwhelmed the opposition.
To me it was never about winning, it was so damn entertaining. It was much watch TV. I hate to say it, but "world" class futbol......
It was special. Win or lose, players gave it there all and we were destined to see a great product on the field.
Circa 10 coaches later, new team, all new players essentially, and 150 injuries and this team can't find the net and just out possesses everyone.
Crazy thing, they are 1 win out of 4th place in the east. The East isn't very strong to be honest, a bunch of average teams probably outside of Philly and Red bulls.
I truly think Almiron was just that much better than everyone else.

During the last game, Atlanta United had 80% of the possession and looked good…until they tried to score. They are missing that last link.
It was that way in the previous game as well…they really need a pure striker.

I long for the first days at Bobby Dodd. There was nothing better. The hype and the type of football they played in that stadium was something else.

Interesting to watch Miggy in EPL with a new manager. Will he remain with the team as the new owner’s money blossoms, or will he be cast aside? Amazing how a guy who was simply electric in MLS just blends in over there.

Amazing how a guy who was simply electric in MLS just blends in over there. So true, the EPL, has size, speed, technical ability and soccer IQ out the wazoo. Usually hard for most to get in there and shine. Plus, he needs the right players around him to shine. They were not going to let some south-American come in and show them how to do things. Hopefully, he's shown his worth and they will re-sign him or he'll land at another Premier League team. Then there is always Espana... |

Yikes, honestly I pay more attention to the 2s right now then the first team. Another hurt player.... something is in the water, and keeper player still is bad.
The 2s got a tie and lost 4-3 in the last week, and to them they won the national title. team is struggling to get points. Worst Goal differential in the league.
I don't get the 2 experiment or value, it's not like they are signing these kids to the first team in drones......
time to move to the new fake MLS next pro league.
