Likely Achilles injury for Miles which would probably put him out of the WC Captain's band is cursed! Seriously though there is a slight chance he could make it back by then. Not great, but slight. Achilles rehab is more aggressive than it used to be. He is young too. I have sent a few younger people back to basketball by six months.

WC rosters have to be submitted by October 20th which a little over five months, Gregg has to make a decision before then. I can't see any likely scenario that Miles is able to return from an Achilles in that time frame and be up to full fitness/speed.

Some look like you sliced a rope so pretty clean with a little frayed edges. Others look like you put the tendon in a blender...not so good there. Requires a lot more sewing and usually a graft to augment. I will still hope for the best for him. I don't like the thought of him missing out. Maybe he has a partial tear...one can hope.

Two torn Achilles in a month!
I had to look up Ronaldo Cisneros. Anybody know where he came from?

All seems crazy with all these injuries.
Something ain’t right.
Even though the turf isn’t 100% at fault - get rid of it NOW!!!
The game sucks on turf! Great for kids. Not great for professionals.
When was the last time you saw an Achilles tear in premier league? Maybe it’s more common than in the think?

That's not normal.
