Announcing Boys Elite 64 for the 2009 age group at Concorde Fire Cobb, in Smyrna. The 2009 Elite 64 boys will practice out of Campbell Middle School (the old Campbell High School) inside the soccer stadium, under the lights. Additionally, the 2009 SCCL teams for both boys and girls will also play out of this location.
This was a location for Georgia Alliance Cobb. Does that mean that Georgia Alliance has merged with Concorde? Is Greg Garza going to Concorde?

kind of strange to pick and choose locations for different teams. Seems like a logistical nightmare.
So all other regional league teams are based out of where?

I think the intention is to reward and keep high level teams playing at appropriate competition levels, regardless of their location.

kind of strange to pick and choose locations for different teams. Seems like a logistical nightmare. So all other regional league teams are based out of where? Really does not matter which branch the team is based out of, provided that branch can field a competitive team, because all home games are at GSP and all away games are at whatever club they are playing. The branch only dictates where the training occurs. Right now, Concorde has the following: Boys ECNL Platinum--Central; home games at GSP ECNL Premier--some Central, some West; home games as GSP ECNL Regional Platinum--some Central, some West; home games at GSP ECNL Regional Premier--South (Columbus); home games at GSP SCCL--out of whatever branch; home games at GSP or whatever branch Girls ECNL Platinum--Central; home games at GSP ECNL Premier--mostly Central, some West; home games as GSP ECNL Regional Platinum--Central; home games at GSP ECNL Regional Premier--South (Columbus); home games at GSP SCCL--out of whatever branch; home games at GSP or whatever branch

Wow! A great first night of tryouts at Concorde Fire Cobb (formerly Georgia Alliance FC). There were some really great players out there at all ages. It's no wonder that 4 Cobb County high schools were all in the GHSA Final 4 from that South/West Cobb area. There's some pretty amazing talent in that area.
Excited to see this place grow under Concorde Fire!
