i apologize i left my odp info sheet at the house, but if i'm correct it states that georgia soccer doesn't not help nor pay for odp and its funding by the players etc.
is this true, all the $$$ for coaches and miscellaneous expenses come out of the fees paid?
why doesn't georgia soccer help support it if its run and administered by them? should it be free to play?
(sorry for being naive and somewhat stupid on this issue!)

(sorry for being naive and somewhat stupid on this issue!) ODP is very inexpensive, they cover most of the fees but not all. the also have scholarships for regional camps and trips

If I recall the lecture, Georgia Soccer sponsors ODP and manages the program. The fees cover the coaching and field rental costs. The players pay most of the camp costs, with GA soccer covering about 30% of region camp and a larger share of national and international trips. The revenue from tryouts and the Cups helps to pay the subsidies.
