Looks like a 2 Conference race for TV revenue and dominance! SEC and Big 10 are leaving conferences like ACC in a tailspin. Might also be the nail in the coffin to entice Notre Dame to go all into the conference.

The move is going to be brutal for non-revenue sports. Lots of travel to play games. The conference will stretch from New Jersey to LA. Crazy.

Agreed, but I think what this will lead to is football breaking off on its own so that non-revenue sports can continue to play a regional schedule. How that looks exactly, I'm not sure, but I can't imagine the current model would work when you have conferences stretching across the country.

The "Alliance" between the Big 10, Pac 12 and ACC in response to the SEC adding Texas and Oklahoma was short lived.

I agree travel will be brutal, but keep in mind the Big East Conf currently stretches from D.C. to Spokane, Wash. The borders are so blurry these days I don’t even think they care at this point. Non revenue sports will have abbreviated travel rosters for sure.
