It was a great game, but we should have crushed Mexico. Mewis's goal should have not been allowed to stand (B/C of Sonnett), and I am so glad that we have already qualified for the World Cup. A commentator stated that the 1-0 scoreline was due to Vlatko's inability to choose a consistent starting 11. I agree to an extent.
A Concorde player-- Giselle-- has been called up to the Mexican NT several times. Would she have made a difference?

It was as if Mexico had only 5 players - their back 4 and their keeper. They did a helluva job, all things considered. I looked up the boxscore of their game against Haiti (who scored 3 times on them) - 2 were PK's and 1 came right after Mexico got a late red (around the same time they got a red last night vs USA).

watched most the game against Costa Rica. I was impressed with how far costa rica has come.
we play way to many lazy balls and just "float" them into the box. NO pace on them, just poorly almost lazy balls sent into the box with zero purpose. Most are played way to short. Hard to watch at times.
so many poor balls played in general. at times you could see magic between Horan and Rose or with Pugh and Smith. Smith and Morgan seem to get in each others way often as well.
Cook played many garbage balls into the box. She also was never in sync with the keeper. I'd remove Cook, Sonnett and Andy Sullivan from the lineup. Sullivan works hard, really hard when she loses the ball or gives it away, but doesn't work to get the ball and fine passing lanes. Not impressed with her at all.
Love Sanchez, she just is so active, her running with her hands up is funny, but she can play. Not sold on Huerta either, Costa rica played almost a flat back 5 at times, which made it difficult to break down. I know Sonnett scored a garbage goal, but I don't think either her or Huerta were dangerous getting forward at all.
Canada will be a tough test, our advantage still is depth, and these long tourneys, you need it. I don't think Rapinoe has any right getting minutes right now either. time to move on and give rodman or someone else her minutes.
