Some clubs are doing team camp now. Can't believe summer is almost over! Good luck to everyone.
Anybody have any info so far on their leagues/schedules/plans for travel tourneys? Curious about whether anyone is going to Disney, NCFC, or Jeff Cup? If so, age group and level. Feeling like lots of clubs were screwed by Jeff Cup the last few years.

Looking at Disney…but no firm decision yet. Also looking at USL academy tournament as well (Tampa).

Headed to CESA friendlies in a few weeks and playing both days early in the morning, so CESA is not on our Christmas card list for sure.

We went and it was 395 the first time. Don't remember the second time but will say weather was uncooperative and we played only one game. Nearly 600 is a lot so hope you play both games. Otherwise I like it tho. Close. Good competition.

Rain tried to cancel our 1st game last year but we got it in after a long delay.

My oldest has a few college scrimmages which is new this year. Should be fun! Youngest has CESA and Nike Select lined up.

Boys U19 04/05 We have a 11 game college schedule and five tournaments. Last two tournaments are Raleigh and Disney. With a couple of friendlies mixed in. Approx a 30 game season.

I couldn't imagine a 10 month season without a "pause" for high school. Even with the pause for high school and because of nationals kids basically play Aug - June, with only the month of July off, and 1/2 of Dec. It's brutal.

That’s not entirely true because kids have playoffs in July. That’s what’s really insane is they play in July and then start a new season in August. Those parents and players never get a real break. That money treadmill stays spinning.

exactly -- we didn't make it to St. Louis.... I hate to say it was a blessing in disguise, but it was for both personally and financial reasons. We had family vacations planned, and my kid would not have wanted to miss training....
I enjoyed San Diego for sure, but man it was expensive and I think they need to figure out a better time table for games or have 2 teams advance from each group.
