Anyone know if this group will be competitive this year? AKA ... will there be any GA or ECNL level girls participating?

Great question.
We went to the tryout session last Sunday and my daughter saw some ECNL level players in attendance that she knew. She also knew a few ECRL level players in attendance. She didn't actually participate though because she was still recovering from a concussion and wasn't cleared yet. Our plan is to attend the first training session next weekend to see who shows up.

Since we didn't officially tryout, we were told we needed to attend one of the training sessions to officially be evaluated and told whether or not we made the pool. Since we have been part of ODP for the past few years, I'm guessing we will make it, but maybe this year is different. I don't have contact info for the coach, but you can probably get it from ODP Admin. I would suggest reaching out about a session to attend so he is aware of the situation. Well I was starting to think ODP might be something to consider for my daughter. . . right up until I saw the training locations. We can do Brook Run Park. The other location, 161 Arizona Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30307, is impossible for us to make. |
