Why does it seem whenever the girls and boys ecnl teams are home - the boys always get moved to the smaller fields? I’ve seen ecnl games played on 9 while younger sccl games are being played on 6 and 7?
I’ve also seen the same happen for training sessions. 3 ecnl boys teams on a field at Fowler constantly.
It’s very strange.
Also - what the heck happened to the boys UFA 07 ecnl team?

Only score I’ve heard is 2006s UFA 3 - Atlanta fire 1
It’s 2022 you think these scores would be entered at the field…….

I guess the home coach enters the scores?
Ecnl app should have some live scoring functioning built in like teamsnap. To be honest their app, should just have team snap functions - all in one capabilities. Go look at their tax forms their leadership group are getting paid millions, no reason the app actually doesn’t have value and true function.
A college coach should be able to download the app, sit and watch a team play and be able to easily pull up info on each team playing. Damn thing could even use geo tracking and tell them what game the are watching!

Back when they used Lanierland and Matt that was way less frequent. They could send the lower leagues to smaller fields and keep the highest level teams on the biggest fields particularly for U15 and up. I think it is ok to have U14 and U14 on smaller fields.

While I agree that the field assignments at Fowler are often mind boggling, field size isn’t really an issue for top teams when it comes to games or training. If anything, it forces players to learn how to play in tight spaces and under constant pressure. Also, three ECNL teams training on one field, even if smaller than a full pro size field (~115x72) shouldn’t be an issue. I have seen top teams at top clubs train like this over the years.

Sounds like a very CF thing to do. Sad if it’s normalized.
