Pretty amazing and hard to believe a market like Stateboro can win a league championship. Tormenta seems to have done a great job growing its program

Tormenta wins 2-1. Brings home the cup. Good. F Chattanooga for coming into a city that had a well supported minor league team. Everything wrong with pro soccer in this country.

Nope..LOL. Apparently it was a USL thing. All of the other games, including the first playoff game they got in free. I thought they never competed in USL though... I think it is great to have the academy kids get involved with these clubs by attending the matches. It's a good way to build that supportive community for lower tier pro/semi-pro soccer. It is also good for the academy kids to take pride in their club and have aspirations to participate on that team one day. Georgia Storm, SSA, MOBA, RYSA, Georgia Revolution, Tormenta, etc. should all do everything they can to get all the academy players and families to every game they have. Kids walk out with them, halftime small sided exhibition matches, skill challenges, ball boys/girls, player of the week/month announced at match, etc. Make it something the kids want to be a part of and build some pride and loyalty to the club. In my opinion that would help the US move closer to creating an organic environment and culture of love for soccer similar to the rest of the world.
