I think there may be 3 coaches named MM... This becomes a policy question I guess. For coaches, especially if we aren't lying about them, can't we use full names?

go for it, i don't see it being a problem, will let each poster decide. but, be cautious of character assassinations - these people have lives.
i'm assuming the top poster is talking MM formally with afu.

First of all, I am no expert by any means when it comes to soccer. That being said, I've been very happy with every coach that my daughter's have had at NSA. Even the parent coaches during their Rec years were outstanding. Each one has helped in their development as skilled players. The things that I've been impressed with is their decision to make sure they girls learn the correct method of play, even if it means that they will lose games in the short term as they learn and apply these skills. Case in point: A week ago, my daughter scored on her own goal because she was passing back to the goalie which they had worked on in practice when she faced pressure. Cost them a goal but she learned from practice and applied it in the game. Excellent! It's easy for coaches to go for the immediate glory in wins instead of making sure each player learns the correct skills even if it makes the coaches looks bad on paper in terms of wins and losses. I'm not one of those parents that goes hog wild about wins and losses at either of my girls ages. I want to see them improve and further their enjoyment of the game. It might be because of their placement in their clubs (one's on a 3rd level team and the other is 2nd level) that the pressure isn't there for immediate results. One year my oldest was on a higher level team and the pressure to win those games was so great from the parents that I couldn't wait for the season to end. You could feel the tension on the sidelines. Not enjoyable at all but I'll hand it to the coach, he stayed on his game plan of developing the players irregardless of the pressure to win.
