Looks like Garth Lagerwey's plan for reorganizing AU is underway. First, the venerable CB has been forced to leave his Ivory Tower and was spotted for the first time ever at one of the MLS Showcases supporting the AU Academy. Guess he has to earn his way in with the new boss. Additionally, hearing that JC will no longer be yelling like a Banshee on the sidelines. Spoke with a current AU2 player who confirmed, but I have not gotten a second independent confirmation. Stay tuned for more moves already in the pipeline...

Couldn’t be sure, but I’m almost positive he (CB) was in California. At least we thought it was him

Honestly, good. Boca was a heckuva player. Had zero executive experience before AU. He was plucked from who knows where based on USNT pedigree. Much like Alexi Lalalalala as a commentator.
Hopefully if Lagerway decides to keep CB he will get to work and be useful. I hate MLS for what they’ve done to stifle competition but strangely I still have a desire for the hometown mcfranchise to prosper.

gosh i hope so on the JC side. Should have happened a couple of years ago.
CB, wow. that is a first. crazy that its taken this long. Never really see/ saw him on campus.

Will they have a new Jersey sponsor? Doubt it since the pre season one game tournament/kit reveal is the Am Fam Cup. |
