I have to say, not having a dog in the fight, what was an entertaining and fun WC final to watch. Just when you thought Argentina was going to runaway with it, giving the GOAT the final notch in the belt filled with all other successes, France finally wakes up, involves Mbappe and he shows you pedigree. 3-3 tie after extra time and we head to the dreaded PKs. 4-2 Final, Argentina wins in PKs. In what other world does a player put his country on his back and will them to win by scoring a hat-trick in the WC final, yet, ultimately loses to his teammate, who just so happens to be the Goat! Congratulations to Argentina, hopefully the comparisons to Maradona(RIP) will now cease against Messi. On a personal note, I hope we hear a mid summer announcement of a certain PSG player, heading to sunny south Florida this upcoming June, 2023 🤭🤭🤭 Vamos Argentina

I think Messi should retire after this season rather than come to MLS. Messi has nothing more to prove - least of which is making MLS defenses feel worse. Go out on top. I’m sure Tom Brady would agree if his brain still worked.

I’m sure Tom Brady would agree if his brain still worked. While he has Argentine, Spanish and Italian citizenship, he has to get the American. This way he can invest, own, live and chillax in the US whenever he wants. Plus, it gets the constant scrutiny of the European/Spanish tax regulators out of his finances... 🙂🙃🙂

The World Cup final was a spectacle of football brilliance, showcasing the unpredictable nature of the sport. I wasn't able to watch it live. I was only able to watch it on the sportscore.io website. However, I could enjoy Argentina's triumph, albeit in a shootout, which highlighted Messi's enduring legacy, though not without acknowledging Mbappe's stunning performance. Such moments underscore the essence of teamwork and individual brilliance in football, transcending rivalries and fostering admiration for the game's greats.
