Have a 2008 trap player that's a goalkeeper (boy) and looking for something competitive outside of playing with the ecnl 09 team. Any suggestions?

I would utilize this time to go to GK training sessions. Most GK’s don’t have enough training sessions during the season, typically twice a week if lucky. They really need 3-4 times a week but that’s virtually impossible. I don’t know how many GK’s get called in as a trap player but if he does get a chance to play, utilize the time to work on things like distribution, controlling the box, communication.

Look into the hispanic/mexican leagues -- probably a good place for a keeper, lots of activity and games are fun.

Ask to play SCCL, looks to be a lot of the 08 champions league teams are playing the spring season.
Not exactly the same level, but it’s games.
