So NAL will be the second teams at SSA, IAFC, LSA, etc? They will still compete in MLS Next as well? I know IAFC only competes in MLS Next at u13 and u14. I guess they will have an NAL team for the older levels.

Wow! NPL is 3rd, E64 is 4th and SCCL is pushed further down.

It’s like RPL, classic 1-5
…except no universally agreed hierarchy. Perfect for separating willing suckers from more money each year.

Hi All! I’m confused, is this league for all of the current MLS Next teams that are non MLS academies or Or is it a second tier within mls next for non mls academy teams It sounds like it's the second team for MLS Next teams, like ECNL-R is to ECNL. I know in some regions of the country, MLS Next is where lots of the top clubs play, but that's not the case in the Southeast (meaning the region that the Georgia clubs play in both MLS Next and ECNL. And if it's true that ATL United is dropping the lower age academy teams, MLS Next is really going to be weak on the top teams, let alone the second teams.

I just hope they don't let any of the National Academy League players play High School soccer. The last thing we need in America is our elite kids having fun.

I could be wrong but I was under the impression that this will be the league the "2nd tier" teams will play in from MLS Next (like KSA, LSA, SSA, etc.) So their first teams would be in this new league as the primary and they'd play the MLS Academy teams as a "supplemental". This seems similar to the way MLS wanted to tier the DA teams before its demise.

Looks like SSA left E-64 and added NAL. Not sure if UFA, AFC and others will stay in E-64 on the boys side.

Would that be their third team? Dont they have ECNL and RL for 1 and 2? Don't believe AFC has ECNL or RL. Must be mistaken with AFU.

AFC has MLS Next and NAL is the 2nd team for MLS Next clubs.
