Searching for advice since all clubs have tryouts on the same days.
Should club 1 be the first day and club 2 the second? Hoping that both clubs have a sort of "come and see" pre-tryout practice.
I know coaches say to let them know if you are not going to be there all three days. In my mind, I should let the coaches know that we are trying out for two clubs, but does that hurt the kids chance of making either team?

Age and level matter as to how you make a tryout plan. There is so much that goes into your plan. IMO check out the team your child is trying to make. Go online and find their schedule and go to a league game or a tournament game and watch the coach, the style of play and the other players. Make an educated opinion of the fit before your player sets a foot onto the pitch. Then check out ID camps (older, better level) or pre-tryout camps (younger) and train with the team before tryouts if at all possible. After this they should give you an idea of the chances your child has to make the team (sometimes they won’t be honest because they want you to attend regardless)
With all of this info you go to your top choice on day 1 and go from there depending on how it is going.
Good luck!
