Hey, so after doing some digging I found out that Ga Storm has NPSL and UPSL creds, would those be comparable to the MLSNEXT or ECNL?
Sorry for all the questions, but tryout season is on us and I want to make the best decision for my son and get him in somewhere that's not going to be a waste of time/money only to move him to another program/academy.
Thank you.

Thank you. Have you considered buying Atlanta United tickets, getting a parking pass to the home depot backyard, and doing drills with your son, you are never 100% sure of who will be tailgating in your area. Just a thought.

Just a thought. We actually go to a lot of games, and that’s a solid idea. Thank you.

Thank you. NPSL is basically summer soccer for college players supplemented with some older guys and maybe one or two HS age players. UPSL is similar but it’s more of an adult semi-pro league that may slot a few HS age players onto the roster for games.

There's soo many different designations in these leagues that I am trying to figure out the pros and cons of each, this board has been great so far!

Just focus on finding the right coach for your son at his current age. My recommendation is someone who focuses on basic skills so that he becomes extremely comfortable under pressure with the ball at his feet. The earlier you learn those skills the better they become ingrained. Find coaches to that do lots of coerver technique training and 1v1 and 2v2 practice on pug goals.

That is solid advise, we are trying to set time to go see different academies and talk coaches.
