If Saudi Arabia is willing to pay hundreds of millions… then I think a paper dog chasing an asbestos cat through hell has a better chance than Messi coming to MLS
I just don’t see Don offering to give him a team like he did for Becks…

Wow I thought it would be several more years before this happened. ATL United vs. Inter Miami tickets now will be $350+. I should have snatched some up just in case prior to this announcement.

If he wanted to go back to Barcelona and money isn’t a factor (USA today story) then this is really curious. He is going to get enlightened fast when he sees one guy in the Miami locker room making 50x more than half the starters on the team.. then he will push that multiplier far higher. This is an interesting story for sure.

Martin Giusepponi appears to confirm the rumors this AM as he said (I’m translating) “Next Stop, Inter Miami.” So, this is either an elaborate hoax, an attempt to get more money out of the other contenders or true. We shall see.

I wish apple tv realized viewing numbers, because the numbers for miami games will be great, everything else will be terrible.
