I'll be honest with you this is the problem with MLS.
I had no idea this game was being played last night. Zero idea. Even never noticed any discussions on twitter prior to kickoff.

I'll be honest with you this is the problem with MLS. I had no idea this game was being played last night. Zero idea. Even never noticed any discussions on twitter prior to kickoff. This is the type of fan I am and my experience this year. I will have tickets to three games this year, typical of most years. My kids play youth soccer. I care but not that much about ATL UTD but enjoy watching professional games and the tailgating/event aspect of it. A few weeks ago one of my kids wanted to watch the game. I realized it wasn't on regular tv. After some googling, learned I had to subscribe to apple tv so I did that. Then I realized i need to subscribe to MLS. To many subscriptions so... I did not move forward but now enjoy watching Ted Lasso. I would like to thank the MLS to introducing me to Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond. |

ha -- yea, it was worth it for ted lasso.
the power of music!!! it could be the worst episode in the history of TV, and the last 2-3 minutes of the show they end with an amazing song, and you walk away stunned and moved at what you just watched.
The final episode highlights that more than ever -- incredible.
my issue is tv rights have ruined my viewing experience when BEIN got pulled from xfintiy and we lost la liga.
Then when messi left for PSG, I really did not honestly care about watching the french league. as good and at times fun it was to watch PSG play, the league was not interesting to me at all.
if the mls actually retained players, i think I would be interested. If the league actually appreciated domestic talent, I'd be more interested. if league wasn't a pyramid scheme I would be more interested as well.

I am still a fan. I still have season tickets. I get the subscription for free as a season tix holder.
I do not find MLS as interesting as EPL but I find it more interesting than Ligue 1 and Serie A even though the quality there is better. It is more about caring how Atlanta United does than anything else. I am a fan therefore I care and watch.
I am not happy where the team is going, but that can also be said of many college football programs. Once I am a fan I will keep watching. I have loyalty to my teams.
Only saw the first half yesterday and it was frantic soccer. We kept losing possession in our own half and would look desperate at times. Messy and sloppy
