I'm surprised that no one posted about the game from the other night. I always enjoy the comments pertaining to the US results, or lack thereof.
For my part, I see Jamaica as truly a force athletically. And technically, they have come a long way. With their new coach, they will be a team to watch in CONCACAF.
I think the US was lucky to earn a draw late in the game; it was not one of our best efforts. Matt Turner was a bright spot. We looked disorganized at times defensively, chasing the play. And we seemed to give the ball away easily through the midfield and or as we were attempting to break the lines in the final third. Other than the Jordan Morris attempt just before the half and the goal, I didn't see much to get excited about offensively.
What did you see?

I only saw highlights but it looked like our B or C Team, comprised mostly of MLS vets and few young guys. We’re three years to the the next WC - hopefully our A squad gets some non-Concacaf friendlies on the schedule while we shift gears to watch the US Women try and maintain their past dominance.

I was going to post; but, the game was late and we had a 8:00 am match next morning. It was an ok game for me-glad to see other people getting some playing time. You know a lot of those guys have worked hard and it’s good to see them get minutes.

Well, they made quite an improvement from the Jamaica game to now. I heard that Mexico brought a high level squad to the Gold Cup, let's see if USA can still defend it's title.

Can we postpone spiking the football until we can tie or beat Uruguay and Chile (or even Paraguay and Venezuela) back to back?

Mexico is forced to bring their A team to the Gold Cup, CONCACAF knows that bringing Mexico A team will translate in full stadiums and a lot of money on TV deals (Univision) - just to give you an idea of the amount of money, Mexican soccer games national team and LigaMX have bigger profits than Premier League in USA -
In the past Mexico sent the U23 to the Gold Cup and the A team to Copa America, until CONCACAF prohibit that, then they reversed the pattern and sent the U23 to Copa America and A team to the Gold Cup until CONMEBOL got angry and stopped inviting Mexico. =]
