Does anyone have any chair travel hacks when having to fly for games? Had recent surgery and would like a chair option. Do people just buy a cheap one when they arrive in destination and leave it there or sit on the ground if they can't stand the entire time?

I bought a two pack of CLIQ chairs about a year ago. Since they don't take up much space I always have them in the car. They don't take up much space in a suitcase / carry on. They are on sale right now at Amazon. www.cliqproducts.com/products/cliq-chairrb.gy/pqg4l

I was going to recommend the same two (coaches/scouts chairs) also. However, you mentioned you just recently had surgery, so I would say go one of two routes. First off go to Walmart and buy some cheap larger chairs that you will "donate" to the fields when you're done. Or take a page out of the coach/scout who forgets to bring a chair, go to one of the tents at the showcase location and snag a full fledged chair and hold on to it for the duration and then return before you leave. If you get challenged, keep a pained look on your face as you gingerly explain you just had surgery and you're not willing to undo what your surgeon just fixed by sitting in a cheap chair. Good Luck

Another option is to find a parent that is driving and ask them to transport your chair(s).

Ask your hotel if they have a folding chair to borrow.
