Ok, I'll bite, but will add my top ten all time dribblers, play makers, contributors to the game etc. as far back as I can remember, expanding it to 10 and beyond 20-years (sorry, watched more soccer back then than I do now - more memorable for me, at least).
Be nice to start a different thread for defenders, holding-mids, GKs (at some point).

and if we want to add a keeper, I would vote for Iker Casillas
Also, I would like to put a plug in for Pele, even though he did not meet the 20 yr criteria. I watched him play one game at the meadowlands and even though he was at the end of his career, he was absolutely amazing. Every time he touched the ball the place went crazy and he did not disappoint. I can only imagine what he was like in his prime. I wish I could have seen Maradona - a old soccer nut friend who saw both of them play in their prime insists that Maradona is the best of all time.
