Pretty impressive given this team has been the doormat of the league for decades.

Pretty dang good run they made in the first season under a new coach. Heartbreaker of an ending.. like every game that ends with penalties. I don’t think UGA should have changed keepers for the kicks but I only watched 2/3 of one game this season (and that was today) so what do I know.

The level and style of play of both teams was quite good IMO.

Coach McAlpine is brilliant with tactics and training. He brought in 7 boys off the UGA Boys club team to train with the girls 2x a week. They are not allowed to tackle, defend physically, etc. My son told me he learned more in 2 mos playing with Coach McAlpine than he learned in 12 years playing club. Great job UGA, keep working.
