I wish no one any ill will. Hate it that she is injured. Didn’t care for her as a player because I felt she was more about “her” than “team.”
However, I also understand that she brought attention to her sport and fought for what she believed in. Unlike some, I feel she has the right to say what she wants-even if I disagree with it.

She is an attention lover who used to be the teams best player… but that was probably 10-12 years ago. I think kneeling during the anthem was a visible, thus effective protest until it (immediately) got painted as being against the military when its purpose was explained as being nothing of the sort... and then she seemed to love doubling down. Over and over. It’s a shame because her outspoken-ness brought negativity. She had a good career but nobody is ageless. Time to move on.

Just going to leave this here. That quote coming from her doesn't even remotely surprise me. Arrogant & self-centered. Essentially, "I didn't believe in God anyway, but because I personally got injured in my farewell match, this definitely proves He doesn't exist. Because nothing bad should ever happen to me." I'm sure she thought she was making some light-hearted comment (maybe, who knows with her), but it's totally on-brand for her to not understand how offensive a statement like that can be to those who do believe... which is a large majority of the world, including many of her fans. As others have said, over the past several years she has consistently used her position to advocate for far left-wing positions and ideas, and now she's even specifically bringing religion into it. She certainly has a right to say whatever she wants, but she shouldn't be surprised when there are consequences or people disagree with her. |

- just tested it, after hitting block, you need to check
Hide this member's posts.
Then under your profile, click edit profile, Privacy, and it shows the current members block list, with options for each member.
