They got slaughtered but they played Roswell U13 Girls were misplaced for the fall season last year and played C/D. They didn't win any games in State Cup but played three close games. The team that got slaughtered was Athena E. They would have been much more successful playing in another tournament. It looks like there's a U13 boys team in III that was misplaced and should have been higher. If they can play some I or II teams in a post season tourney they'll get a better idea if they're good enough to compete in State Cup. If the team you're talking about is still in CIII in the spring then State Cup is probably not a good option. Go to a tournament where the kids can be challenged but not to one where there's no hope of being successful.

I was thinking about that Tiger team - thought they were Athena C - who in their right mnd puts an E team in SC? ?

2 Boys U15 C3 teams, Roswell Santos and South Georgia were C3 last year and entered State Cup. Both won a play-in against C1 teams and won/tied games in State Cup. Santos went undefeated (1-0-2) but didn't go through to semis because Alianza went 2-0-1.
