You can now coach remotely apparently! There is a boys RL coach that traveled out of state to a tournament and got hurt at some point before the boys' first tournament game. He proceeded to pull in a parent last minute to coach last minute and texted that parent instructions on subs. Fast forward and the coach decided not to even show up the entire weekend and drove home and let the parent continue to coach while he texted line ups.
This is the same coach during practice that uses a quarter of a field to train boys that are playing 11v11 every weekend. And sometimes while he is training them, he reads a book about personal development.
Thousands of dollars well spent.
I didn't know RL stood for Rec League.

Is this the same RL coach that convinced parents to forfeit a championship game in an out of state tournament because they already beat everyone in the four team bracket so why play a rematch when they can get a head start on getting home?

Jurgen Klinsmann occasionally coached the South Korean MNT from his home in LA. Needless to say he got fired after the failure in this year Asian Cup. WFH is the new crack post Covid! |

The amount of sub-decent coaches in our country is alarming. We need better coaches if our nation ever wants success on an international level.
